Nedved, 35 years at full speed
It's the special event of the end of summer at Juventus. Pavel Nedved, the so-called “Czech Fury”, turns 35 on the 30th of August. His team mates have given him an early present by winning at Parma and qualifying for the fourth round of the Italian Cup. The national cup remains one of the team's objectives for the season, and also one of Pavel's, who has already lifted the trophy twice, but only when he played for Lazio.
Nedved is absolutely one of the brightest stars of Juventus' recent history, and match after match he's still making history now. He has played 251 games with the club, scoring 55 precious goals and helping his team win four League titles (two of which were later taken away) and two Italian Super Cups, not to mention, on a personal level, the Golden Ball award he won in 2003.
