Legrottaglie: «The public must understand us. We will build something important together.»
It is definitely not a lucky moment. Just like in the match against Chievo, even against Lecce the end result is that of a draw at home because of a goal conceded during the dying minutes of the game when the three points seemed to be won.
The goal by Castillo at the end of the match ruined an afternoon in which the bianconeri did not manage to maintain the same rhythm throughout the match. This is the main reason of disappointment for Legrottaglie. The defender prefers looking at the future and launches an appeal to the supporters: «Today we did both well and badly. In the first half we did not playa as we wanted to. In the half time we looked each other in the face and said we could not go on like this. In fact in the second half we did better, giving everything. And we even deserved to win. At the end we conceded this goal which brought so much disappointment. We must now look ahead, think of Milan and of the other remaining matches. The supporters? They have the right to whistle but they must understand that doing so they only get the opposite result. We will give our maximum until the very end and we hope that the public is behind us. The people must be patient. What we have been doing in these two years is in preparation of something great which is yet to come. We must all believe in this project which we are building together».
