Chiellini: «we won against an important team»
Notwithstanding the few training sessions to date, Cheillini played 180 minutes , two matches and immediately won back his place. After the debut against Vicenza, Giorgio Chiellini repeated his performance against a much more difficult side – Seville, in the first match of the Peace Cup.
A marginal victory but a fundamental one in order to draw closer to the semi-final of the tournament but also to increase the faith in the project. «We won against an important team which made us suffer up to the very end. At the end of the first half we weren’t satisfied with our performance even though the result favoured us. In the second half we did better. In this period it is only natural to try out new solutions, like the 4-3-3 experimented today, and encounter some difficulties».
