Manninger: «Our aim is to qualify!»
After the vistory against Seville, Juventus have one foot in the semi-final of the Peace Cup.
This is thanks to the goals by Amauri and Iaquinta but also thanks to the excellent performance by Alexander Manninger: : «I am happy with my performance – commented the Austrian goalkeeper on Juventus Channel – Seville showed they are a great team and besides they were playing at home. They know each other well and had many shots on goal, but even we scored two great goals». Now Juve will be playing against the Korean side of Seongnam, but the fantasy is teased by the possibility of a semi-final against Real Madrid: «It would be nice to play against Real – continued Manninger who played twice against the Merengues beating them on both occasions. – It is obviously these matches that give you the highest motivation. Besides, playing against Real would be a great trial to test ourselves against one of the greatest realities of European football. First, however both us and them have to think of qualifying».
