Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta believes the Bianconeri have the best attack in Serie A and Europe.

Iaquinta started the season as the club's fourth choice striker, but is now a regular in the side ahead of Alessandro Del Piero and David Trezeguet.

In the last month, Iaquinta has scored six times and over the season he even has a better goal to game ratio than Amauri, the team's topscorer.

When asked to describe how he feels at the moment,” Iaquinta replied: “Proud. Satisfied. But I felt like a regular even when I was on the bench.

“If I stayed quiet, it's because I knew that when you play you have to also show you actually deserve to.

“I know that when all four of our strikers are fit there is no better attack in Italy and Europe,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 29-year-old had come very close to being sold in the January transfer window and is happy that he is now considered untouchable.

“It's wonderful. I am really pleased that we no longer speak about my departure. I have three years left on my contract and if they propose an extension I will sign it,” he added.

When asked if he would remain at Juventus despite the feverish competition for places, Iaquinta said: “Yes. I like competition, the more there is the better.”

Iaquinta then turned his attention to this weekend's game against Italian champions and League leaders Inter, who are 10 points ahead of Juventus in Serie A.

“I have never scored against them,” Iaquinta admitted. “I have played them more than once with Udinese and only once with Juve in the Coppa Italia.

“It's tough against Julio Cesar. He is going through a rather graceful period. No one seems to be able to score against him.

“We will play for the three points,” he said. “I am sure that not even Jose Mourinho will come to Turin looking for a draw.

“They certainly have something more than us because they have taken points away from the provincial sides.

“We instead have wasted too many opportunities against the smaller teams,” he concluded. “That has been our ruin.”

Iaquinta has scored eight goals in just 11 starts for Juventus in Serie A this season and will almost certainly play either alongside Del Piero or Trezeguet this weekend.
