Take me to South Africa, says Ale

Juventus talisman Alessandro Del Piero says he hasn’t given up hope of going to the World Cup finals in South Africa this summer.
The 35-year-old has struggled with injury so far this season and has not been picked for Italy’s two upcoming friendlies.
Del Piero was a member of the Italy side that won the World Cup in Germany in 2006.
“I have already been to South Africa. I would like to go again. Having been a part of that group at the beginning, I still feel a part of it now, Del Piero said.
He then turned his attention to Juventus who are trying to rein in Inter at the top of Serie A.
“We have to recover some injured players, me first, because I have never started a game so far this season,” Del Piero explained.
“We have to improve step by step. We cannot already think about the challenge with Inter in December.
“We’ll see if Diego and I can play together. Now I only hope that I can start playing again soon.”
