Marchisio: Juventus Reacted Straight Away Against Napoli

The youngster was pleased the Bianconeri managed to bounce back from Wednesday’s disappointment to take the three points against on Saturday evening.

Tuttomercatoweb.com reports how Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio was extremely happy about his goal and the 1-0 win against Napoli on Saturday.

Marchisio performed well in the Champions League defeat to Chelsea in midweek, and his efforts against the Partenopei will surely make him a fan favorite.

"A decisive win and goal for the team and the league position," commented the 23-year-old player. "We had many chances in the first half [from which] we failed to score, but luckily then we did.

"Obviously we have many games to play, but that's the same for Inter and Rome. It's a period with many games and the physical condition can be affected, but we're fine and holding on.

"The great team must know how to change mentality straight away. Following the defeat against Chelsea we had to react straight away and we did so."

Juventus have temporarily decreased their gap from Inter down to six points ahead of tonight's big clash against Roma at the San Siro stadium.
