Blanc: «The best answer to the Champions League»
Getting back on the field four days after the match against Chelsea was not easy and this could be seen against Bologna especially in the first half. However, the team in the second half gave all it still had to spend and brought home a large victory – a beautiful present even for the public who tonight like on Tuesday did not stop supporting the team.
It was a victory that satisfied everybody. Here are the words of Jean-Claude Blanc as spoken on Juventus Channel. «This victory is the best answer that the team could give after the elimination in the Champions League. I am happy with the boys’ performance especially the younger players who tonight really sent a beautiful message to all».
The Juventus general manager went on to speak also of the theme of the last few days that is the statements made by Trezeguet and Ranieri. «The elimination from the cup brought frustration but there are rules which must be respected and Ranieri did well to react in that manner».
