Juventus defender Jonathan Zebina is determined to return from injury for this weekend's Turin derby.

The French stopper has been out of action all season and has just recovered from an Achilles tendon operation he underwent last November.

After playing in a game against Juve's youth team yesterday, Zebina is hoping to make his comeback in the Derby della Mole.

“I feel good now and I am ready to be selected,” Zebina explained on Juventus' website.

“I won't be back for the Coppa Italia game against Napoli tomorrow, but I'm hoping to be ready for the next game.

“I want to play a few minutes in the derby, which would be a reward after all the hard graft of the last few months.

“For me playing against the Primavera was like playing in the World Cup Final - I felt emotions I haven't had for a long time.”
