Ranieri: “I'm pleased with this win”
Claudio Ranieri has had the year finale he was expecting. His men beat Siena too and took another step forward, in the table and in their awareness of being true contenders. That's why Juventus’ Manager, before setting off for his holidays, can claim to be pleased with his lads.
These are the Manager's words as spoken to Juventus Channel: “I'm pleased about the team and the result. The game proved as difficult as I'd predicted. Siena are a tight team, they always play vertically, that's why I'm pleased we won like we did. I decided to use Salihamidzic because he's really on form at the moment; I was convinced he'd repay my faith in him. I'm also pleased with Tiago, he still isn't fit enough to play for the whole 90 minutes, but he only needs time. Inter Milan have won the derby? It was important for us to keep up with the pace before the winter break. As for the Title, I'll say it again: it's in the Nerazzurri's hands, only they can lose it”.
