Juventus star Pavel Nedved disagrees with the fans and thinks Dejan Stankovic would be a very good addition to the squad.

The Juventus fans are continuing their campaign of protest against the signing of Inter's Dejan Stankovic, and also today, at the team's first training at Pinzolo, they showed a banner saying: "Stankovic has no dignity."

However, one important member of Juve's squad disagrees with the fans, which might help them change their minds. It's talismanic Czech midfielder Pavel Nedved, who said: "Dejan is very strong and I'd like to play with him."

The 35-year-old also talked about the transfer market in general: "The team is strong and can win, but we are hoping there are more big name players on the way. Inter are still the team to beat, but results on the pitch will give the verdict."

Interestingly enough, if Stankovic were to come he would probably compete with Nedved for a place in the team, as they both play and similar roles, and the Serbian is six years younger.
