Ranieri Expecting Hard Work And Improvement

Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri has revealed that hard work awaits his side as they begin their pre-season preparations.

The team arrived at their Pinzolo summer retreat on Saturday to begin working towards getting ready for the new season ahead.

Champions League football and a Serie A Challenge awaits the Bianconeri and the former Chelsea Tinkerman insists that his side need to start as they mean to go on.

“We are here to work hard and to improve,” Ranieri told Juventus Channel.

“The fans have been brilliant and they need to keep up the great support.

“I don’t want to illusion anyone but it is right that we aim high from the start.

“We have to get into the Champions League and then we will try and go as far as possible.

“Talking about the Scudetto is not prohibited, we always have to try and improve.”

There seems to be an element of Déjà vu surrounding Claudio Ranieri’s comments as he said the same thing last year.

However, Juve had a minor blip last term and they were never able to recover to make a challenge on the Scudetto.

A number of reinforcements have been made to the side and thus some much needed silverware should be a little easier to come by this time.
