Ranieri & Gigli talk

Ranieri: «Even a draw wouldn't have done us justice»

Speaking about a game you dominated and then ended up losing is never easy. That's why Claudio Ranieri's interview to Juventus Channel after the match was filled with regret.

«We could've won 4-2 and we lost 3-2 instead – the Manager commented -. Even a draw wouldn't have done us justice, as Gigi never made a save and they had three shots at goal in the entire match. It's true it's not like us to let in three goals, but two of them were due to exceptional pieces of individual skill and we were really only to blame for the second. In any case, I saw us play well, we're in good health and this makes me feel confident for the future».

Cobolli Gigli: «Let’s look at the positive»

The undeserved defeat suffered left many regrets. But also an awareness that Juve played another great game. There are mixed feelings among the Bianconeri leaving the Barbera Stadium after the match against Palermo.

Chairman Giovanni Cobolli Gigli preferred focusing on the positive feelings: «Let's try and see the glass as half full. It's true, we lost three points, but the team reacted very well, playing an excellent second half. Unfortunately this is football and it happens that you dominate and don't win. Now let's try and keep the same level of concentration for next Saturday's game against AC Milan».
