Back to work
Juventus have resumed training this morning after the two-day break granted by Ranieri at the end of their wide win over Lazio. As usual there was a team talk in the middle of the pitch first, in which Claudio Ranieri introduced the weekly training schedule that will take the team up to Sunday afternoon's away game at Siena.
After the talk, the squad, devoid of Iaquinta and Andrade, worked on improving ball possession and then played a ten-a-side game on a smaller pitch.
To finish, some aerobic exercise, supervised by Fitness Coach Capanna; Alessandro Del Piero didn't take part in this however. The Captain followed his usual personal training programme in the gym instead.
No suspensions at Juventus. One Siena player suspended
The game against Lazio has had no disciplinary consequences for the Bianconeri. The only Juventus player booked on Sunday, Alessandro Del Piero, got his first yellow card of the season so he won't be risking suspension even if he gets another one. The list of players who do risk suspension is still rather long and includes as many as nine players: Camoranesi, Grygera, Nocerino, Palladino, Salihamidzic, Stendardo, Trezeguet, Legrottaglie and Molinaro.
Siena will have one suspended player, though: midfielder Coppola, who got cautioned against Napoli. Meanwhile, Maccarone received his third yellow card of the season in that game and risks suspension if he gets booked again.
