Juventus Coach Ciro Ferrara Proud Of His Players Following Tim Trophy Triumph
The Bianconeri were the eventual victors of the three team tournament last night.
Juventus, Inter and Milan all squared off in the annual Tim Trophy tournament last night; with the three clubs all facing each other in a 45 minute contest.
Following a win over the Nerazzurri in a penalty shoot-out, and a comfortable two goal victory over the Rossoneri, it was to be the Bianconeri’s night, as they took home the cup.
The coach of the Turin based outfit, Ciro Ferrara, was extremely satisfied following the completion of the tournament, and as a result he foresees an extremely bright future for his club.
“I am very satisfied tonight,” Ferrara told Italy’s Channel 5 following his side’s final clash.
“We played very well against both teams, so we are pleased to come out on top.
“Inter are still very, very strong, and they certainly troubled as a lot. We were very fortunate to win on penalties against them.
“We will spend the next few days reviewing our performances tonight, and working on a few things before the league starts next weekend.”
The Old Lady have been in impressive form this pre-season, and are looking in extremely good shape as the new season draws closer.
“I’m pleased that we have played a month of consistent football. The boys have performed very well, and the future looks very good for us.”
