Ferrara: «A fair draw. We emerge with honour»
After having broken the jinx of the Trofeo Tim, it is now the Trofeo Berlusconi to become an unlucky trophy. After years of success, Juventus leave the trophy to Milan for the 6th consecutive time.
Ciro Ferrara is not thinking of the trophy but of the team’s condition six days before the start of the championship and of the fact that even the match at the Meazza left useful indications: «We came here to win, it’s a pity we lost after penalties. The result at the end of the 90 minutes was a fair one and we emerge with honour. I am happy to have back an important player like Diego especially since it was only his second match. He has great qualities, he is clever at losing his markers, has great technique and physically strong even if he was not 100% fit today. Tonight, also due to the heat, we were a bit too long but we held well. I think it is fine like this».
