At full speed towards the finish line

At full speed towards the finish line

Preparation continues in view of the next game, to be played Sunday in Bergamo. After Thursday's session, in which the Bianconeri who'd played against Parma only trained lightly, today the entire group worked at the same level.

Obviously Iaquinta didn't take part, as he's injured and he'll have to stay out for 20-25 days. Giorgio Chiellini didn't take part in today's session either. He’s suffering from fatigue to his right thigh and his level of fitness will need to be checked on Saturday, to see if he can play against Atalanta. Sissoko's fitness is improving, but he still won't be available, whereas it's looking good for Legrottaglie, Zanetti and Zebina, who seem fine and trained as normal with their team mates.

The schedule for Saturday includes the last pre-match training session at 3 pm at the Juventus Center. Before that, Ranieri will hold his press conference, starting at 2 pm.

The match against Atalanta is very important for the League table position. After winning against Parma, Ranieri's men have 8 points more than fourth-placed Fiorentina and 12 more than AC Milan and Sampdoria, who share fifth place. If the gap should further increase, Juve would automatically qualify for the Champions League with as many as four games still to go.
