Ranieri: «Being humble is the key to success»

Juventus are getting back into the League atmosphere and, after facing Fiorentina on Day 1, they find another very tough side on their path. Udinese, coached by Marino and featuring Di Natale, are a young team, but they're already experienced and dangerous: «They beat us last year here – Ranieri recalled - and they need to be faced with great concentration. Udinese have been having some great seasons, they always manage to stay near the top and come out with impressive players; they have a great set-up and congratulations are truly in order for the Pozzo family, for everything they're doing. Di Natale? He's going through a magic spell; he's like King Midas, everything he touches turns to gold. It's a pleasure to face great players such as him».

Gigi Buffon in the last few days claimed he fears Udinese more than Zenit: «I agree because the one against the team from Friuli is the first home match and that's always the most difficult one. I think it's the same for Gigi. In football, a lot depends on staying concentrated and humble while preparing all the games. That's the key to success. We're an excellent team when we play at our best, but if we decrease our attention level we're not all that great. This is no limit, it's just the way football is: if you play at your best, skills and qualities come out, otherwise the other teams are able to hide the differences. Italy's game in Cyprus is an example of this and I was expecting it to go like that. Last year we played against La Valletta and they gave us a hard time. In the old days if you faced teams with a low UEFA ranking you won easily, but it's not like that any more nowadays».
