We Don't Fear Anyone In Europe - Amauri

Juventus striker Amauri insists his side do not fear anyone in the Champions League as they prepare to take on Zenit St Petersburg on Wednesday night.

The Old Lady has her sights set firmly on European success this term and the Brazilian striker seems full of confidence.

He believes his side are good enough to go all the way this year. Juve have returned to Europe’s elite club competition following a two year absence and Amauri wants to make the most of his Champions League chance.

He has warned other teams that Juve are not scared of anyone at home.

"Zenit are a good team but we are Juventus and we are not scared of anyone at home in both the Champions League and in Serie A," said the striker.

"We have all the right ingredients to progress through the group without any problems."

Amauri is spreading his confidence around Vinovo as his team mate Mauro Camoranesi has backed up the ambitious statements.

"I think we will do well in the Champions League and so will Amauri," said the Italian international.

"We never managed to get past the quarter finals with [Fabio] Capello even though we had a very strong side.

"It may happen this time though as we have a great will to do so. Players like myself and Pavel Nedved, who had to play a year in Serie B, are really fired up."

Juve coach Claudio Ranieri will be hoping his plays will keep their promise and fire his side on the road to European glory.
