Camo: Viola aren't contenders

Mauro Camoranesi doesn't believe Fiorentina can challenge for the Scudetto on the evidence of yesterday's draw with his Juventus side.
Azzurri winger Camo was Man of the Match at the Stadio Artemio Franchi but he could only watch as the Viola stole a late equaliser in a 1-1 draw.
“We though we could get the win,” the Argentine-born star explained. “We controlled the game to a certain extent and they didn't look like scoring.
“After we went 1-0 up we were in charge and I'm disappointed that it ended level.”
However, the fiery midfield talent doesn't believe the Gigliati will be able to join Inter, Milan, Roma and Juve in the title struggle.
“We will fight to the wire for the Scudetto, but that seems too much for Fiorentina because they are still a young side.
“The Viola will grow over the next two or three seasons but their target should be the top four.”
Both Fiorentina and Juventus will need to juggle the demands of the Champions League and Serie A this season after securing their spots in the Group stage.
