Sebastian Giovinco Will Not Leave Juventus, States The Player’s Agent
The representative of the 'Atomic Ant' insists his client will continue to wear black and white stripes for quite some time...
Sebastian Giovinco has been getting more of a chance recently at Juventus, but still is seemingly low in the pecking order of coach Claudio Ranieri.
The diminutive Italian Under-21 international has shown flashes of brilliance in his limited playing time during the campaign but has constantly been linked with a move elsewhere as the media associate the Bianconeri with a swoop for Sampdoria's Antonio Cassano.
"I do not know if Cassano will come to Juve,” said Giovinco's agent, Claudio Pasqualin, to Radio Kiss Kiss. “My feeling is that things will work out in very different way from the one the media is currently telling us.
"Very clearly, Giovinco has a contract with Juventus until 2013. There is a project for him to be a part of and he wants to remain in Turin permanently. He is ambitious and determined to be a future leader of Juventus, no matter how the situation with Cassano finishes."
Giovinco is considered one of the strongest offensive talents of Italy's younger generation. He has been linked on-and-off with a move to Arsenal but has repeatedly stated his desire to follow in the footsteps of current Bianconeri captain Alessandro Del Piero.
