Juventus Striker Alessandro Del Piero Ready To Return For Udinese Match

Alessandro Del Piero returned to action for Juventus when they faced a local side at the weekend, and believes that he is fit enough to take to the pitch when the Old Lady face Udinese on Sunday.
"Now I'm in good shape and I can play - the more [fit players] there are, the better because there are many challenges that lie ahead," the captain reasoned to Sky Sport 24.
"Will I play or not? Physically I believe I'm well, I don't have any doubts over this."
'Pinturicchio' has barely featured for Juventus this season having struggled with injury, but will be aiming to play more regularly in order to win a place in Marcello Lippi's Italy squad for the World Cup.
At 35-years-old, next summer will be Del Piero's last chance to play on the world's biggest stage and he hopes that he will be on the plane to South Africa, rather than anywhere else.
"In June, I hope I'm not already on holiday!" he joked.
