Trezeguet : I'm Going Nowhere
Trezeguet: I'm Going Nowhere
Juventus striker David Trezeguet has insisted that he is happy in Turin and that he has no plans of a move to Milan.
The striker has been linked with a move to the Rossoneri and reports in the Italian media suggested that the Frenchman was being lined up by Milan for a potential swap with under-fire Alberto Gilardino.
However Trezegol admits that he is flattered by Milan’s interest but he is not really interested in them
“There have been plenty of occasions where the press has spoken about possible swaps and that Milan were looking at me with interest,” Trezeguet told Sky Sport Italia.
“However for me this was just an honour knowing that a team like Milan were after me and it was also motivation from a personal level.
“Despite the interest I have always said and I will continue to say that I am really happy here and that I would like to remain at Juve forever.”
Trezeguet has scored 17 times for Juve this season and he is currently Serie A’s top scorer to date this season.
He was very close to walking out on the club last season and he even made a gesture to the Juventus directors that he was leaving after scoring for the Bianconeri during a Serie B fixture.
