Buffon: Juventus Are On The Right Track
The Juve custodian is eyeing domestic and European success as he tries to keep the team on track...
Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon believes his side are on the right track as they fight for trophies this term.
The shot-stopper has been out of action since the 2-1 win against Cagliari where he injured himself.
However, that is all behind him and it is onwards and upwards from now on.
"I think I will be back in the new year, now I am fine and I have trained with the other goalkeepers, therefore I am fully recovered," Buffon told the club's official website.
"It will be difficult trying to keep the good results going because when you are doing so well, it's always hard to improve.
"We will be happy if we keep going as we are. We want to be Inter's antagonists."
The shot-stopper, who has been closely linked with a move to England, admits he wants to avoid English teams in the last 16 of the Champions League.
"History tells us that the English teams have given us problems in the past and there is also Barcelona," added the 'keeper.
"However, I think we can do well against the other teams."
