Juventus conquered Milan at the Stadio Olimpico in Turin on Sunday evening, where captain Alessandro Del Piero opened the scoring from the penalty spot, leading Juventus to a 4-2 victory.
"We're happy and excited to beat Milan," were Del Piero's words on the Juventus official website. "We played with great determination and concentration and were able to do so for the entire ninety minutes."
Juventus have just one official match left in 2008, a tough test against Atalanta. The Orobici have a home record of six wins, one draw, and one loss.
"Now we must grit our teeth before enjoying a deserevd holiday," he explained. "We're preparing for the match in Bergamo on December 21, where we want to close out a beautiful 2008."
The Bianconeri are currently six points behind Inter in the Serie A standings, but they are in sole possession of second place after beating Milan.
