Molinaro's New Year's resolution
Thursday 18 December, 2008
Juventus defender Cristian Molinaro is hoping he can break into the Azzurri side in 2009.
The talented left-back has become a regular starter in Turin since the Old Lady bought his full rights from Siena in the summer of 2007.
Molinaro is yet to receive an international call-up, but he admits that is one of his objectives for next year.
“Of course I dream of playing for Italy,” the 25-year-old told Mediaset Premium.
“There aren't many natural left-wingers around and so I am hoping for the call from Marcello Lippi.
“However, for now I must just focus on playing well and improving as a Juventus player.
“We have just recorded a great win over Milan, but now we must concentrate on Atalanta.”
