Juventus may pounce for Turkey and Galatasaray midfielder Arda Turan

Old Lady Tempted By A Turkish Delight

Juventus may pounce for Turkey and Galatasaray midfielder Arda Turan if they fail to land Liverpool's Xabi Alonso according to Il Corriere Dello Sport.

The Bianconeri are still pursuing the Spain international as they look to add some strength in the middle of the park.

However, Alonso has been playing mind games over the whole affair by claiming that he would stay at Liverpool, only to change his mind hours later and declare that Juve are a great club on Friday night.

It seems as if the Old Lady is getting tired of the transfer merry-go-round regarding Alonso and now she is looking for a Turkish delight if the Spanish paella is struck of the menu.

Corriere Dello Sport claims that Juve are now looking towards Turan as back up to Alonso and they are ready to offer the Turkish club €6m plus Sergio Almiron.

Turan has been outstanding for Turkey so far during the European Championship and his performances last term for Galatasary in the Champions League raised a few eyebrows around Europe and he could be playing for the Bianconeri if Alonso decides to remain at Liverpool.

One thing is certain and that is Juve directors are losing patience with the Anfield based club and this could open the door to Ardan who would be tempted by Juve's potential offers.
