Agent Scoffs At Senna-Juve Link

Marcos Senna's agent has insisted that reports linking the midfielder to Juventus are just rumours and that it would take something big to prise him away from Villarreal.

Eli Coimbra admitted that if an offer worth looking at was made by any club then they would anaylse it, but hinted that it was highly unlikely that anything would happen.

Following a very strong Euro 2008, Senna's stock has risen even further and Juve were said to weighing up a bid although they will know that the Brazilian-born Spanish international will not come cheap.

"I cannot dent that intermediaries and people within the game are working and that some interest has been shown to, but nothing formal. It is all just rumours," Coimbra said.

"When the European Championships are over, if there some real interest we will look at it like we always have done, but people know that Marcos is very happy and enjoys playing at Villarreal.

"I cannot deny that football is basically a business, but for anything to happen it would have to be a very good deal for Marcos and for Villarreal and at this time there is nothing like that.

"Another thing as well as him enjoying playing for his current team, is that his family is very comfortable and settled now.

"For Marcos, showing respect to his club is fundamental because they have been together a long time."

There will be no movement at all until after the final against Germany on Sunday because Senna is solely focussed on helping la Furia Roja win the tournament.

"Marcos is very excited about playing in the final of the European Championships and does not want to talk about anything else," Coimbra added.
