Palladino Move To Genoa Back On

Raffaele Palladino’s move from Juventus to Genoa is back on, and the Gazzetta dello Sport says that the move could become official on Monday.

The 24-year-old, who is rated as one of Serie A’s most talented young players, has been tipped to leave the Old Lady this summer following a testing season during which he started just 14 Serie A games, often sitting on the bench, or playing out of position on the wing.

Juventus transfer director Alessio Secco has been offering Palladino to a host of clubs, and it seemed last week that he was on the verge of joining Genoa after Rossoblu President Enrico Preziosi announced the deal to the press.

However Palladino then rejected the transfer at the last minute, and it seemed that there would be no resurrection of the deal.

The Gazzetta dello Sport today says that the deal is back on, and that the forward has verbally agreed to a new four-year deal.

The ex-Livorno man, who was won two caps for Italy, is expected to sign a deal with Genoa over the weekend, and the transfer could be announced officially on Monday.
