Piatti: I’ll be Juve’s Pato

Argentine starlet Pablo Piatti has urged Juventus to sign him by promising to be the Old Lady’s answer to Alexandre Pato.
The Estudiantes hitman is one of the hottest prospects in Argentina’s Primera Division and is looking to show his talent in Europe.
The 18-year-old is of short stature, but was a key figure in last summer’s FIFA Under-20 World Cup and is looking to follow in teammate Juan Sebastian Veron’s footsteps and relocate to Serie A.
“I want to become Juve’s Pato,” Piatti declared in an interview with Tuttosport.
“There has been concrete interest from the Bianconeri and it is my dream to play in Europe.
“I want to follow my friends Sergio Aguero, Lionel Messi and Ever Banega in joining a great club and Juve remain one of the biggest teams in the world.”
The shadow of Piatti may be a source of concern for Raffaele Palladino as he is also able to play on the left wing or up front.
However, talks between the two clubs are said to be at an early stage and there are a number of other sides also lurking.
