Gigi ready for Renzo Barbera

Despite fears over his fitness, Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon is set to take to the field against Palermo.
The Azzurri No 1 has been suffering from pain in his lower back and has had to skip several games in 2008.
With Euro 2008 fast approaching, Buffon has revealed that he wants to rest once the Old Lady secure their Champions League place for next term.
It had been rumoured that a worsening of his condition would keep the former Parma man out of Juve’s game in Palermo this weekend, but that doesn’t now appear to be the case.
“He doesn’t have any problems,” club doctor Riccardo Agricola insisted. “The physiotherapy will continue and he will train as well.”
Buffon trained regularly with the rest of his teammates today and reported no pain at any stage.
