Juventus Director Alessio Secco admits that the Derby D’Italia against league leaders Inter is an important game.

The two bitter rivals lock horns on Saturday night in one of the biggest games the season has to offer.

Juve are looking to make their Champions League place more secure while Inter will be hoping they can keep a firm grip on the Scudetto.

Secco believes the rivalry between the teams will fire up the players come 20:30 on Saturday.

“It’s a delicate game and an important one just like the rest of them,” said Secco.

“However it cannot be denied that the game between Inter and Juve has a significant meaning for both teams.

“It’s the game where both sets of players wait all season to play in.

“Are we the scudetto referees? I am only interested that the team does well and that they are responsible for their own destiny.

“I am not really interested if our results have an affect on others in the league.”

No doubt the Bianconeri will be hoping that they can go one better than the 2-2 draw between the bitter rivals earlier this season. Inter have not lost at home this season in the league and it’s going to be difficult for the Bianconeri to get something from the game.
