Buffon: «You could see it in our faces that we wanted to win»
Gigi Buffon has never hidden the fact that he has a soft spot for Genoa. Indeed when he faces that team, especially at the Ferraris, he always plays great matches. He saved a penalty a year ago and made a great save on Borriello this year, giving his contribution to the win.
Here is what Gigi had to say to Juventus Channel: «You could see it in our faces that we wanted to win today. We gave all that we had. We wanted to win to increase our point advantage on AC Milan and we managed to do so. My save? It was important, because if they'd scored early in the second half, it would've been hard. In any case, my fellow defenders were good at always stopping Genoa's forwards».
