Chiellini: «Shame we didn't increase the gap»
Another great Giorgio Chiellini performance tonight, in his native Tuscany region this time. With almost all Empoli players huddled back in their penalty area defending, the Livorno native tried to go forward and score too, but to no avail.
It ended 0-0, and the result caused some regrets, especially after the results from the other games came through. «We came here to win, but we couldn't score – were Chiellini's thoughts -, congratulations to Empoli, they deserved to get a point. We increased the gap over our rivals, but it's a shame we couldn't take a bigger step forward. We’ll concentrate on Inter Milan now, but we're not interested in being the title deciders. We want to win just for ourselves».
