Del Piero: «Determination, the capability to suffer and great saves».

Captain Del Piero analyzed the precious victory against Fiorentina: «The viola created difficulties for us and we managed to emerge thanks to many factors: determination, our capability to suffer and great saves by Buffon. My reaction upon being substituted? It is the result of me feeling charged-up at that moment. It is not a nice thing to do but it is normal sometimes when you are heated and want to bring the victory home. Believe me I am very happy with the performance tonight, both mine and that of my team-mates».

Alessandro Del Piero: Juventus Need Three Points Against Udinese
Del Piero has calmed down following his coat-throwing antics on Saturday night and he is now ready to focus on the forthcoming fixture against Udinese...

Juventus captain and icon Alessandro Del Piero is eyeing maximum points against Udinese when his side travel to the Stadio Friuli on Wednesday night.

The Italian international was not too pleased after having been substituted by Claudio Ranieri during the 1-0 win over Fiorentina on Saturday night.

However, all that is now behind him as he looks forward to a good midweek showing. The Bianconeri are keen to keep in touch with Serie A leaders Inter Milan and Del Piero admits that only three points are good enough.

"We get the most satisfaction from difficult matches that have been won yet suffered in," Del Piero told his official website.

"If we continue like this then we can add a further three points in the league.

"I am happy with the way I played and now we have to think about our next game against Udinese."

Del Piero threw his coat on the floor as he came off the pitch against Fiorentina, but he has seen the funny side of it.

"I threw it down because it was not my size," added the captain.

Juve are three points behind Inter heading into Round 21 of the Serie A campaign.
