Juventus Eye Robben Or Ribéry In Case Of Nedved Exit - Report

Juventus Eye Robben Or Ribéry In Case Of Nedved Exit - Report

Pavel Nedved may not have decided whether to stay at Juventus next term yet, but already the rumour mill is cranking in to action, as the Italian outfit start to turn their attentions towards finding his replacement...

Juventus have put Arjen Robben and Franck Ribéry at the top of their wish list in case Pavel Nedved decides to announce his retirement soon, according to a report.

The Serie A giants have been linked with the duo, but will know that only a huge outlay will persuade either Real Madrid or Bayern Munich to part with their players.

Il Corriere dello Sport state that Claudio Ranieri is preparing for the announcement that Nedved will quit and wants his board to be ready to find an automatic replacement.

Robben's injury problems may also cause la Vecchia Signora some concern given that he has spent the majority of his time at Real Madrid on the sidelines.

While enjoying a current run of good form, Robben would present more of a risk than Ribéry although his price tag is likely to be less than that of the Frenchman.

Reports emanating from Bavaria suggest that Bayern have put a €150 million tag on their highly-rated forward in a bid to end speculation that he could leave in the summer.

If Juve were to make an official bid and receive a favourable response, then they would quickly face competition for his signature from a host of other clubs across the continent.

Nedved will be 37 at the start of next season and it remains to be seen if he will stay at Juventus or not over the summer.
