Juventus Resume Negotiations For Udinese Full-Back Motta - Report

The Old Lady have allegedly approached the Friulans with an offer to reel in the Azzurrini defender.

Juventus director of sport Alessio Secco has repeatedly stated that the club’s main priority in the transfer window will be to bring in a right-back to provide cover for Czech international Zdenek Grygera.

Several names have been associated with the Corso Galileo Ferraris outfit, including Lazio starlet Lorenzo De Silvestri, Genoa’s Giandomenico Mesto and Siena revelation Juan Camilo Zuniga.

But according to Virgilio Sport, Juve officials have now revived their interest in Udinese right-back Marco Motta.

Secco and Udinese general manager Pietro Leonardi have already held informal talks in the past and it is suggested they reached an agreement for a loan deal with the option to sign the player permanently for €2.5 million at the end of the season.

But Juventus have also enquired after midfielder Gaetano D’Agostino and would like to bring him to the Stadio Olimpico this month, but Udinese have slapped a price-tag of €8m on the former Roma youth product.
