Legrottaglie and Buffon «We will get back on track »
The defeat against Udinese came at a moment when it was not expected. A bad match on a bad day: «There is nothing to comment. We played badly. It happens sometimes one can fall but he must get up. Today was not a good day. It was one of those days. We have to get back on track as from Saturday.»
Asked about the goal in which he was involved the defender said: «I was sure to get the ball. It was on it but I think it must have bouncced from under my leg. On another day the ball would have gone out after hitting the post but today it went in.»
Udinese were not the team seen lately: «They played well and put us into difficulty and the goal gave them energy. We were hoping to keep them under pressure but they scored and it was a different story. It was a bad match. We were not good enough today. I am convinced that this group will get back on track. Just like when we won we kept our feet on the ground we will not let this defeat break us.»
The greatest difficulty? «I think we had alot of difficulty. We weren’t the usual Juventus. I think when a team loses like this it is the whole team that is responsible just like it is the whole team that deserves the compliments when it wins.»
Buffon did not have a very happy birthday on the field: «Today we played a bad match right from the start. We allowed them to gain courage and then we know that in the forward line they have players of international level. I think that it is the whole team that wins and the whole team that loses and today apart from a few single players who did better we are all to blame.»
Players are recovering and the match against Udinese saw Trezeguet back: «Whoever plays will give the maximum but then it depends on the particular moment and who is more fit.»
Inter is six points ahead, do we have the power to continue fighting for the first place? «I think that if on Saturday we are capable of beating a good team like Cagliari we can get back on track.»
