The agent of Christian Poulsen has confirmed once and for all that his client will remain with the Bianconeri.

Christian Poulsen has had a tough start to life at Juventus, as he has struggled with injury and inconsistent form over the course of the season.

As a result, it has been rumoured that he may be offloaded, possibly to Portsmouth, a club that are reportedly interested in acquiring his services.

The English club are rumoured to be lining up Poulsen as a potential replacement for Lassana Diarra, who recently joined Real Madrid, however despite this, the player has confirmed that he wishes to remain at Juventus amid this speculation.

In addition to this, the agent of the player has also confirmed this more recently, in an interview as reported by Novantesimo.it.

“There is certainly no truth in these rumours,” the agent declared in the interview.

“I have read the newspapers and the websites, but in reality no one has ever contacted us.

“Christian does not want to leave Turin,” he concluded.

Poulsen’s Juventus taken on Fiorentina this weekend, in a mouthwatering clash at the Stadio Olimpico in Turin.
