Cannavaro satisfied

Fabio Cannavaro was satisfied with the news about the decision by the CONI anti-doping Procurator t put away the case. The Juventus and national team defender explained: «I happy the procurator has asked for my position to be archived because this shows it appreciates my good faith and my behaviour. I had no doubt that this would have happened and I am sorry that such an insignificant incident generated so much clamour».
«In these last three days – ended Cannavaro -, as had already happened in the past, I followed the campaign by certain media that associated my name without any real care to doping. My personal history and my career show my respect towards sports and the ethical principles which support it».
