Ferrara: «It is a positive result»
Perhaps the bianconeri hoped for something more from the clash at the Allianz Arena, but at the end of the match, Ciro Ferrara seemed satisfied enough with the draw.
«It is a positive result. The performance was very good especially in the second half when we conceded very little».
On the eve of the match the coach had asked the players to spend every gram of sweat they had and this was done: « They are champions league matches and the boys know they have to give 100% and this they did. We hoped to win, I must say, but I think at the end of the day it is a good result. We risked a bit in the first half but in the second we played better then them. They are a good team which start the attack even with the fullbacks making themselves very dangerous».
A bad note is the fact that Diego had to be substituted following a blow to the knee: «Diego received a blow to his knee and I t h substituted him out of precaution. We will have to see if it is serious or not».
