Del Piero eager to return

Alex Del Piero is determined to be back in action as soon as possible after he was struck down by yet another injury.
The Juventus captain only made his first appearance of the campaign in last Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Bologna after enduring fitness issues since 2009-10 kicked-off.
However, the veteran striker was dealt another blow on Thursday when he picked up a left thigh strain in training.
Doctors are expecting the Italian legend to be out of action for 30-40 days, but Del Piero is remaining upbeat.
“I’m very disappointed with this latest injury, one which will keep me out for some weeks,” he stated.
“Nevertheless, I have the desire to react to this setback. This isn’t a positive period for me, but my attitude will help me get back to full fitness as soon as possible.”
