John Elkann: «Blanc will be executive president»
A few days before the expiry of the mandate of the current board of directors, John Elkann wanted to bring an end to recent rumors and announced that the role of president of Juventus will be entrusted to Jean-Claude Blanc, who is already the general manager and general administrator: «He will be the executive president. It is another step towards a competitive approach».
The Exor president thanked Giovanni Cobolli Gigli «for these three difficult years during which he gave so much. It also thanks to his work that Blanc can assume this new role». As foreseen by the stock market rules, the official list of the new board members will be announced on Monday, in view of the share-holders meeting on the 27th of October.
