Ferrara: «I am happy even though we should have brought the match to a close earlier»
After a month without victories, Ciro Ferrara can once again feel happy. Juventus has returned to victory on the night it inaugurated a 4-2-3-1 formation. They are three golden points especially for the progress in the Champions League.
Here are Ferrara’s comments at the end of the match: «This team played using a 4-4-2 formation for many years and therefore it is natural that we need time to adapt to these new tactics. Tonight I opted for one striker and three good players when it comes to attacking and it turned out well. Today I liked the way the lads played in the way they interpreted the match even though I would have liked to bring it to a close earlier, considering the fact that we played with one man more. Diego? He played an excellent match. He played well between the lines, looked out for his mates and ran a lot».
