JUVENTUS

Buffon - 8.5: Produced a miracle save from Dvalishvili in the first minute that is worth his mark alone. Also made crucial late stop in injury time.

Zebina - 6: Had a reasonably solid start down the right before being forced off with yet another injury.

Cannavaro - 7.5: With the exception of Dvalishvili's first minute chance, Cannavaro was immaculate tonight. Swept up imperiously.

Chiellini - 7: Had some trouble turning on the slippery surface in the first half, but grew into a powerful figure at the back and scored the crucial winner.

Grosso - 7.5: Created the majority of Juventus' chances tonight, including two excellent crosses for Trezeguet. Also twice had shots blocked.

Sissoko - 6.5: Is working his way back to fitness nicely. His passing remains as terrible as always, but there are few better in the world at making tackles and hunting down opponents.

Felipe Melo - 6: Won a number of balls in the first half, but then repeatedly gave it away. Started the second half well until he was forced off injured following Dutra's horror challenge.

Camoranesi - 7: Was one of Juventus' few dangerous players in the first half. Strangely he was one of the less prominent after the break, although he did hit the post.

Diego - 7: Very disappointing in the first half, it would be good to know what they put in his tea at half time as the Brazilian was a changed man in the second period. Provided the assist for Chiellini, and almost pulled off an audacious chip.

Giovinco - 8: Juventus' best outfield player, the Atomic Ant was electric in the first hour - so much so that the visitors resorted to kicking lumps out of him.

Trezeguet - 6.5: Twice went close to scoring as he shot just wide, and saw another effort kicked away by Davidovitch.

Subs

Caceres - 6: A little impulsive at times - something he really needs to fix.

Poulsen - 6: Juventus had a dip after Poulsen replaced Felipe Melo.
