Transfer Talk : Genoa To Sign Criscitio And Olivera Today

Genoa To Sign Criscitio And Olivera Today

Genoa are set to sign Juve's Domenico Criscito and Ruben Olivera on loan until the end of the season.

What was originally mere transfer speculation has now been confirmed yesterday by the Grifoni's vice-president Giambattista Pastorello during a radio program on 'TeleRadio Stereo'.

"On Friday Criscito and Olivera will be available for Genoa," confirmed Pastorello. "It's an operation agreed with Juventus, which will not include the transfer of Manuel Coppola to the Bianconeri.

"The arrival of Olivera also excludes that of Langella, for which we were negotiating the part-exchange involving Papa Waigo with Atalanta."

The arrival of the 21-year-old Criscito may push a Genoa defender out of the squad.

"Criscito's arrival could mean the departure of a defender, but not Bovo, who has a lot of requests, and who we do not intend to let go," confirmed the Grifoni's vice-president.

Both Criscito and Olivera have not found too much space in the Bianconeri’s first team this season, and coach Claudio Ranieri is hoping they will get more playing time elsewhere.
