If Domenech Goes, I'll Be Back - Trezeguet

If Domenech Goes, I'll Be Back - Trezeguet

David Trezeguet has conceded that he would welcome a return to Les Bleus when coach Raymond Domenech steps down.

The Juventus man was left out of Domenech's plans for Euro 2008, having announced last week his retirement from international football after the federation confirmed it would not switch coaches, at least not before the end of the year.

Trezeguet has now indicated that he does not rule out returning to Les Bleus when Domenech is no longer in charge of the squad.

"If things change, the doors will be open again. Because the France team is the maximum for every professional player," Trezeguet told L' Equipe.

Domenech has been allowed to stay at the helm of France despite their early Euro 2008 elimination and has until the end of the current year to prove he is the right man for the job.
