Palermo will play to win

Palermo Coach Davide Ballardini promises his men won't play for a draw when they take on Juventus tomorrow.

The Sicilians have been on great form of late but they face a stiff test as second-placed Juve visit the Stadio Renzo Barbera.

Palermo have beaten the Old Lady in two of their last three home clashes and the fixture finished 3-2 to the Aquile last term.

“They won't come to Palermo looking for a draw,” Ballardini said in today's Press conference.

“Juve will arrive looking for the win but we will also be aiming for the three points as it is a home game.

“The stadium will be sold out and there will be so many great champions on show so it will be a fascinating encounter, but the support of our fans can be crucial.

“We will play with great intensity, as we always do, and we will give 100 per cent in search of a good result.”

Juventus striker Amauri will return to his former club for the first time since signing for the Old Lady in the summer.
