Ranieri: «Many times such matches are lost»
It seems that between Juventus and Sampdoria the only possible result is a draw. Twice last season and twice during the current one. After the goalless draw in the first round, this time it is a 1-1 rich of emotions with the bianconeri feeling angry at a victory which was missed by pure chance.
At the end of the match Ranieri cannot be satisfied with the result but definitely satisfied with the performance. «When there are matches of this sort, in which you create so much and don’t manage to score, many times you risk losing. The team created a lot even in the first half and went on doing so in the second. We tried to score till the very end. I am happy with the excellent performance given by the boys. Cassano? A great footballer but I think mostly of my attackers».
