Morning training in Vinovo

Influenza has loosened it’s hold on the bianconeri. The only player to still be suffering from the consequences is Tiago who is still in bed with the most classical of seasonal illnesses. Manninger and Mellberg have both recovered from the fever but underwent limited training in the gym. Buffon was also back in Vinovo following severe bronchitis with fever, however the goalkeeper only attended a medical test. Tomorrow he is expected to be back to normal even though his condition will be examined carefully. Today’s training session consisted of a warm-up followed by a technical session concentrating on ball possession and pressing. Chiellini and Iaquinta worked separately from the rest as did Mauro German Camoranesi.
